A Microsoft informou nesta quinta-feira queda de 11% no lucro líquido
do primeiro trimestre de 2008, para US$ 4,380 bilhões, em relação ao
mesmo período do ano passado. O lucro por ação foi de US$ 0,47, abaixo
dos US$ 0,50 de um ano antes, mas acima dos US$ 0,45 previstos pelos
analistas, segundo pesquisa do FacSet Research. Embora o resultado seja
positivo, os analistas contavam com um forte crescimento do faturamento
devido às vendas de computadores pessoais no mundo todo e à queda do

Fw: MSN Music to shut down, leaving DRM customers in the lurch

Microsoft is ceasing support for its MSN Music service. After August
31, 2008, people who have bought music from the service will no longer
be able to move that music to different computers, or even change the
operating system on their current computers.
